Coldplay’s Fix You – Music Matters for Japan (Various Artists)

To benefit the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami that shook the lives of so many in March 2011, 49 artists from 18 countries including Simple Plan’s Pierre Bouvier and Sebastien Lefevbre, Evaline, These Kids Wear Crowns and 11 year old Yuto Miyazawa came together in Singapore to rerecord Coldplay’s Fix You. The sale proceeds of the this track will go towards the Japanese Red Cross Society and Peace Boat (a Tokyo based charity which is helping with the country’s rebuilding and rehabilitation efforts). Americans generally like to hear good news. They like to believe that a new president will right old wrongs, that clean energy will replace dirty oil and that fresh thinking will set the economy straight. American pundits tend to restrain their pessimism and hope for the best. But is anyone prepared for the worst? Meet Michael Ruppert, a different kind of American. A former Los Angeles police officer turned independent reporter, he predicted the current financial crisis in his self-published newsletter, From the Wilderness, at a time when most Wall Street and Washington analysts were still in denial. Director Chris Smith has shown an affinity for outsiders in films like American Movie and The Yes Men. In Collapse, he departs stylistically from his past documentaries by interviewing Ruppert in a format that recalls the work of Errol Morris and Spalding Gray. Sitting in a room that looks like a bunker, Ruppert recounts his career as a radical thinker and spells out the crises he sees ahead. He draws upon the same news reports and data available to any Internet user, but he applies a unique interpretation. He is especially passionate about the issue of peak oil, the concern raised by scientists since the seventies that the world will eventually run out of fossil fuel. Touring around the UK and Europe, JFB met Beardyman with whom he started the night Battlejam, an innovative event concept which brings improvised video DJ skills and rhymes together. The assassination follows NATO’s more than month-long siege of Sirte, the Libyan coastal city that was Gaddafi’s hometown and a center of his support. The assault on this city of 100000 left virtually every building smashed, with untold numbers of civilians dead, wounded and stricken by disease, as they were deprived of food, water, medical care and other basic necessities. Gaddafi was apparently traveling in a convoy of vehicles attempting to break out of the siege after the last bastion of resistance had fallen to the NATO-backed “rebels”. NATO warplanes attacked the convoy at 8:30 am Thursday morning, leaving a number of vehicles in flames and preventing it from moving forward. Then the armed anti-Gaddafi militias moved in for the kill. The death of Gaddafi appears to have been part of a larger massacre that has reportedly claimed the lives of a number of his top aides, loyalist fighters and his two sons, Mo’tassim and Saif al-Islam. While details of the killings remain somewhat clouded, photographs and cell phone videos released by the NATO-backed “rebels” clearly show a wounded Gaddafi struggling with his captors and shouting as he is dragged onto …

UFO fleet over Japan, after tsunami/Earthquake

www.allnewsweb.com Massive UFO activity in Japan prior to Earthquake Michael Cohen It began with a report three weeks ago of a UFO fleet being seen by witnesses as it moved over Japan’s Mount Fuji before the individual craft fanned out across the area. This event was reported in all seriousness by no less than China’s main government news agency, Xinhua (see their article here and our article here). Western Media steadfastly refused to report the event. The US based “UFO industry” also chose to completely ignore or suppress any information regarding this event, seemingly regarding it as unimportant This publication was the sole English language news outlet that ran a story on this occurrence. Shortly after, we covered further sightings in Japan (see articles here and here). There was no doubt about it, UFO activity in Japan was unprecedented and something was happening in the area. For two weeks now our website’s front page headline has stated “Asia awash with UFO and alien events”. In a subsequent article we asked: “The question now on the minds of many Japanese citizens is, if indeed these craft are of extraterrestrial origin, what do they want from Japan?” Numerous UFO sightings in Japan continue to be made, right up to this moment, and are still being ignored by the West.
